Sajith Pillai has over a decade’s experience of planning and implementing quality improvement initiatives and of both leading and coaching improvement teams.
After gaining his MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India, and his MHA from the University of Pittsburgh in the USA, Sajith was a management resident with Gateway Health Plan, a managed care organisation in Pennsylvania, and a quality improvement specialist with the University of Pittsburgh where he worked on projects that contributed to reducing maternal depression, low birth weight and prematurity in low-income pregnant women.
Since 2011, Sajith has been a healthcare quality consultant in Qatar, where he plans and implements quality improvement initiatives, leads and coaches improvement teams, and conduct lectures and training workshops for frontline healthcare staff.
Sajith is a recipient of an Institute of Healthcare Improvement Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Fellowship and a credentialed clinical microsystems coach with the Dartmouth Microsystems Academy.
