About Us

Why IHLM?

Based in Oxford, IHLM provide inspiring education courses and empowering qualifications in health economics and outcomes research, and in healthcare leadership and management.

Our comprehensive portfolio of open enrolment and custom courses enable healthcare staff, executives and industry professionals to maximise their personal impact and transform the performance of their team, service or organisation.

IHLM faculty members are not only genuine healthcare thought-leaders, but also understand the cultures and contexts in which they teach – enabling them to collaborate closely with clients and course members to deliver relevant, customised and specialised learning that has an immediate and lasting impact.

The IHLM experience is both stimulating and challenging – immersing participants in varied and interactive learning activities that combine cutting-edge theory with practical solutions. Whether you and your team work in a boardroom, at a patient’s bedside or in a HEOR, market access or medical affairs function, there is an IHLM programme that will help you transform both your own performance and that of your healthcare organisation.

Open courses

IHLM provide a comprehensive portfolio of courses that enable healthcare leaders and industry professionals at every level – from the bedside to the boardroom, and from clinical development to market access – to transform both their own performance and that of their team or service.

Our open programmes cover the full breadth of leadership, management and HEOR challenges facing healthcare organisations and the life sciences industry today. Underpinned by evidence-based research and the extensive experience of our faculty members, they are grouped around what we believe are the key thematic areas of importance to high-performing healthcare organisations and industry teams:

  • HEOR strategy
  • health economic modelling
  • evidence review and synthesis
  • real-world evidence
  • value communication
  • health technology assessment
  • healthcare leadership
  • patient experience

These courses take place online, in Oxford and in other venues around the world where we collaborate with local partners to deliver practical skills and knowledge that will empower participants to make immediate improvements to patient care and enhance their personal impact as a healthcare leader or industry professional.
