Digital Healthcare Transformation

Make Digital Healthcare Happen!

About The Programme

Digital healthcare uses technology to make patient care – and the organisations that provide it – safer, more effective and more patient-centred. It makes processes, whether clinical or administrative, more efficient as well as making care more personalized and precise.

Digital healthcare is not new. Many hospitals have used computer systems since the 1960s and 70s. But while electronic health records have become widespread over the last decade, new innovations – such as the use of ‘big data’ to improve service planning or machine learning to support clinical decisions – are still in their infancy.

The IHLM Digital Healthcare Transformation Programme will benefit anyone who wants to understand what digital healthcare is, what its potential benefits are, and how they can capture those benefits for their healthcare organisation right now. It requires absolutely no prior knowledge of, or background in, information technology – just a genuine passion for improving patient care and making healthcare more efficient and effective. Delivered in ways that are both emotionally engaging and immediately practical, the programme empowers participants to transform their own department, business unit, institution or system from the moment they leave the classroom.

This intensive and interactive two day programme is divided into four modules and includes detailed instruction in:

  • Introducing Digital Healthcare – A comprehensive review of all the digital healthcare concepts and technologies that exist today and could be coming in the not-too-distant future.
  • How To Exploit Digital Healthcare In Your Organisation – Tools for identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement using digital healthcare.
  • Making Digital Healthcare Happen – How to overcome obstacles and implement digital healthcare successfully.
  • Monitoring and Evaluating Digital Healthcare Innovations – How to measure the impact of digital healthcare on your organisation and on the care you deliver.

Who Should Attend?

This programme will benefit anyone who wants to understand what digital healthcare is, its benefits, and how they can implement it in their healthcare organisation right now. Absolutely no prior knowledge of information technology is required – just a genuine passion for improving care.
